About the artwork

What is this word actually about? What is «antiglamour» supposed to mean?

I thought that I myself had invented this term when I had been observing some of my works. Firstly it was all about provocation. I call it «to make the work a little bit sharper». Some old works remained at the pro-vocational level. However, while mastering some other works, I’ve decided to go a little bit further.

When one says the word «glamuor», what kind of associations it triggers in your mind? For the majority of people, it has to do with something bright and beautiful, something that can impress and please. It is either like an eternal holiday or like its elements.

The glamor industry is all around us. It is in our minds and our lives; it is constantly being translated from the TV and can even be observed by the bars.

I have never said that glamor is something bad. However, it can quite fast become boring. One needs some sort of a balance. This is where gender comes up. Girls get bored of glamour much less often. I’m a boy, however, I have a desire to joke and be naughty. I don’t mind behaving disgracefully even despite my age.

Partially, I do it in my usual life. However, I’m not that insolent. That is why I feel myself completely free only while creating something new.

Have you got now, what «antiglamour» for me is? If not, I shall make another couple of posts, dedicated to this topic. I have got a great deal of materials to make such posts.

This is another provocation from me.)

Someone will see in this picture a theatrical scene, or a scene from a movie.

And someone will remember an episode from their own life.

Someone will see in this the story of life and death.

And someone just red paint on the floor and an unstable figure.

Each of you is of course right.

Everyone can see what he wants to see here.

That’s what it is, a provocation!
